The BYRO is a high-end workspace located in the centre of Munich.
A former savings bank branch was transformed into an entirely new work concept where freelancers, start-ups, and employees of larger companies come together.
At the heart of the workspace is a two-storey open communication area, inspired by the atmosphere of a 5-star hotel lobby.
Arranged around this central open space are single offices, group offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, hot seats, a reception area, and a coffee bar – partly located on a newly inserted lightweight mezzanine level, which maximised the rentable floor area.
The “hotel lobby” also functions as an event space and lends the workspace a sense of generosity and openness.
