The design for the hotel was submitted as part of a 2022 competition for the demolition and reconstruction of Hotel Seegarten in the centre of Bad Wiessee, on Lake Tegernsee. The project echoes the form of the existing building and, through the terraced arrangement of the entrance and restaurant areas and the continuous glass façade, offers breathtaking views of Lake Tegernsee. The clear, linear architecture of the main and secondary buildings creates Alpine comfort, inviting guests to slow down and relax in a cosy atmosphere.
