G22 Projects was commissioned by the hotel’s owner family to renovate and extend the entire wellness and spa area, including the lounge and relaxation room.
The existing pool was completely refurbished and designed with an impressive mirrored stretch ceiling, creating a two-storey feeling of space. With its aesthetic furnishings, it now invites guests to relax after an eventful day and unwind in the new Finnish sauna or steam bath.
The “forest” theme was incorporated throughout the entire area and in the new Kneipp trail, as the hotel is located in the middle of nature. The choice of colours and materials: light-coloured knotty oak was used for the wooden elements, while dark walls and ceilings are contrasted by a light-coloured floor. In some areas, the render texture was designed to resemble tree bark. Green accents and an atmospheric lighting concept round off the harmonious atmosphere.
