KlimaHouse Award Winning Hotel in the Dolomites
The architecture is strongly orientated towards the established traditions of the surrounding area. The shape of the balconies was inspired by the design of the hay barns. The attached wooden boxes are typical components of the old farmhouses: as soon as a room was needed more, a box was added to the outside of the house. In the Residence, the “boxes” indicate the family rooms with additional rooms. Some old materials were used, but these were always installed in a modern form.
The architecture does not seek to imitate, but to quote and interpret.
