The 5-star holiday farm in Bavaria commissioned G22 Projects to redesign a new two-storey chalet apartment themed around the concept of a “Hochsitz” (elevated hunting lookout).
Two existing apartments were combined to create a light-filled and luxurious holiday unit for four guests. On the ground floor, a spacious living and dining area with an adjoining kitchen was realised, along with a bedroom and a bathroom. Since it was important to the Danner family that future guests have access to a private wellness area directly within the apartment, the upper floor was equipped with a Finnish sauna and a small relaxation area, in addition to a generous bedroom with an adjoining large bathroom.
In implementing the interior concept, great emphasis was placed on clean, modern lines combined with natural and locally sourced materials such as felt, linen, oak, and clay plaster. The colour palette reflects the surrounding landscape and lends the chalet an exceptional sense of comfort and well-being.
